On holdI have my exams coming up soon and so for the last couple of months I've been too busy revising to be able to get much artwork done for DA; it's a great shame but still, I hope revision will pay off.On hold by ZeroAlarm
Once my exams are over (end of June), I'll be back to work. I'll probably get a new account to go with a personal website which I'm planning on creating which I'll use to upload my work. That's still a small way away so it won't be too soon, but I'll re-upload everything and add everyone from this account to my new one when I get it.
Hope it's all going well for everyone!

So, while I'm waiting for the glorious end of school and the start of my creative journey I thought I'd prepare myself for the field in which I hope to work in some day - 3D.
Modelling is key and so, after my little adventure with the self-taught Feisar I thought I'd get myself some proper training - well a DVD - close enough. This time it's a space fighter; the one from Star Wars Episode One.
Here's the synopsis:
"You will cover all aspects from scratch and follow along as you create this awesome model. Starting with the basic primitive shapes and then building up the detail - before finally moving on to the texturing section; where you will cover UV`s, PhotoShop, bump maps and much much more!"
Well, I'm certainly drawn in, aren't you? It also teaches texturing; something I still have no idea about, so I know I'm definitely going to benefit
Here's what it should turn out like, and if anyone wants to try it themselves, go to SimplyMaya.com
